For as far back as I can remember, horses have been prancing in my soul. Horses evolved from wild and free spirited ancestors and I enjoy pushing the boundaries of traditional styles and mediums to create my paintings. While I occasionally stray from the subject matter to paint other animals, my first love is the equine image. Capturing the essence of these kindred spirits, who continue to prance in my soul, is my passion. My painting of this silly red mule sparked my creativity in another direction. He “spoke” to me and thus Truman the Cool Red Mule was born. It's a delightful adventure!
